It’s no question that social media has a big impact on our lives. Most of us use it daily, whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, among many others. We use it for many different purposes; to connect with others, to share our lives, and even to promote our businesses. Instagram has especially become a medium where you can amass a huge following and use it for entrepreneurial purposes. Nowadays, promoting your business can essentially mean promoting yourself. Many people, through social media, have gained a huge following of over one million fans. And with that huge following and self-promotion may come various financial opportunities and professional opportunities.
One such star who has amassed a huge following over time is professional golfer, Paige Spiranac. Paige, like many other public figures on social media acquired followers quite rapidly and now has 1.5 Million people keeping up with her account. Her following is comparable to other golf’s elite like that of Rory Mcilroy, Jordan Spieth, and Rickie Fowler. While Paige originally intended for her account to be a space to share trick-shot videos, she found that she didn’t want to keep the page purely business. Well, that evolved into her sharing quite risque pictures of herself, drawing controversy as to whether she was at all contributing to the sport of golf or negatively impacting the image of female golfers with her short skirts and cleavage-bearing neck lines. However, Paige shares pictures of herself to motivate people to love their bodies and feel comfortable in their own skin. Despite her message, her some of her pictures attract critics. Let take a look and see why.
Practice makes perfect
Golf is not an easy sport and you can never know what kind of game you’re going to have. Paige has said that she loves going to the golf course for this very reason; “because golf is the hardest sport ever.”
Here she is looking dazzling, so we’re not sure if she is before the game or after a great game. Whatever it is, she chose a very athletic getup and tight curve-baring shirt and athletic pants. It is true that talent isn’t always enough in the sport and you need practice in order to succeed. Well, Paige adds in something else that helps (at least with the pictures) and that’s good looks.
