Iris (Alaverdi, Armenia)
Iris is the perfect stop if in Armenia if you’re traveling to Georgia. The city of Alaverdi itself isn’t that remarkable, but the Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries nearby are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and cannot be missed. The Kobayr and Akhtala monasteries are worth a visit, too. The owner, Irina, can even help you arrange tours to these monasteries. She will even prepare a full breakfast and an Armenian dinner – don’t forget to pay a little extra!
Zuza (Lisbon, Portugal)
Located right in the heart of the historic Chiado district, Zuza B&B is one of the best places to stay in Lisbon. Luis, the owner, makes it a point to give his guests a proper welcome, and can offer some great tips on the best places to explore. He even created his own app so you can still get his personal recommendations! Breakfast is always a delightful experience, with a great selection of homemade jams, pastries, eggs, and fresh fruit.

This nice, quiet property in Galway offers one of the best breakfasts you will ever have in a B&B. It’s in a great location, and the owners will be more than happy to recommend restaurants and places that you can explore during your trip.
