If your leather shoes have a bit of scuff or a stain on it, a bit of toothpaste applied with a soft cloth will get that out in no time. If you want to keep your sneakers white and polished, a bit of non-gel toothpaste and a small brush – like an old toothbrush – can go a long way. Toothpaste can also get rid of those nasty ring stains in your coffee or tea mug. With just a little bit on a damp cloth or an old toothbrush, scrub it. Have you ever wondered what the weird dark smudge under your iron is? Well, stop worrying. Grab a rag, some non-gel toothpaste, and with some elbow grease, those stains will be gone in no time. Please make sure the iron is cool before potentially burning yourself!

If you live in colder regions where goggles or headlights fogging up is a common issue, try rubbing a little bit of toothpaste on the lenses and wipe the residue. For the headlights, use a damp sponge in a circular motion before wiping it down. For the goggles, use your finger to cover toothpaste over the entire surface before wiping it down with a dampened cloth. It’s mind-boggling how, when you think about it, there aren’t a lot of things designed to be single-use purposes. We’ve seen, with some creativity, even if something’s design is single-purposed, it can create a new use for anything.
