Now That’s a Halloween Costume
When you’re Glen Close, you look deliciously fabulous in just about anything. That was something she certainly proved when she recreated her Cruella de Vil look using random things laying around the house. The legendary actress paid homage to her iconic role in the 1996 film “101 Dalmations by putting together a homemade version of the character’s outfit. Halloween might be some time away but this definitely sets the tone!
Cruella de Thrill
Close got deep into the Halloween spirit and even shared a picture of her on Instagram fully dressed in a makeshift Cruella costume, the very character that got her nominated for a Golden Globe.
How Did She Do It?
In order to bring this Cruella look to life, the 73-year-old actress donned a pair of red fingerless gloves over black gloves and then attached some intimidatingly long black nails onto her fingers. Her “cigarette” is a red painted chopstick and her leopard print scarf and black coat were goodies that she got from the 2017 drama “The Wife.” As for her make-up, Close, that’s just Glen’s skill. When it came to the wig, that was the one thing she had to buy online.

It’s For Charity
The best part about this look? It wasn’t just for fun! In the caption the actor mentioned that she was preparing for the “Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover,” a fundraiser taking place on Friday, October 30 in aid of non-profit organization the New York Restoration Project.
