He played professional football till he was 44 years old. His professional career started from1968 and ended in1996. Out of 28 seasons, Roger Milla played in 26, and he scored a total of 432 goals in all.
He is the only 38 year old and African player to have scored Four goals in the World Cup (Italia ’90 World Cup). He also pioneered the dancing goal celebration, where he runs to the corner flag to perform a short dance.
He made another World record when he scored at 42, in a game against Russia at USA ’94 World Cup. He was oldest outfield player and oldest goal scoring player in the World Cup.
