Flea – real name Michael Peter Balzary – has apparently always been a Rams fan, and he proved it by rocking out at the Los Angeles home opener in a number three jersey.
We all know that the Red Hot Chili Peppers love California, so it makes sense that at least one of them would be on the bandwagon of an original California team. You might hear that Flea has a play named after him – the flea flicker – but don’t believe it. That play first started appearing on fields in 1925.
Los Angeles Rams: Rebel Wilson
Despite being born in Australia, Rebel Wilson is a big fan of the Rams. During the 2021 season, she was even chosen to be an LA Rams ambassador. We're not sure what that means, but it sounds pretty good. Since the Rams went on to win the Super Bowl that year, it seems to have done the trick.
When the NFL Draft was held in 2021, she took over the Rams “Draft House” in Malibu. Why is Wilson such a big football fan? It's all because of the show “Friday Night Lights.” Apparently, that's all it took to get this gal excited for pigskin.
Nebraska Cornhuskers: Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle Union is a special fan, she gets to enjoy more than one team. While she loves the LA Rams, they are not the only team she's rooting for. She has two uncles who used to play for the University of Nebraska's national championship football team, which means she also loves and roots for the Cornhuskers.
But, she's not just a passive fan, she's someone who knows how to play the game. She can run, catch and throw a ball, and said she can play both sides of the ball. She has also claimed that while playing powder puff flag football she has never lost.
Cincinnati Bengals: Nick Lachey
He was born in Kentucky. He married Jessica Simpson. He was the lead singer of the boy band 98 Degrees. So who does he root for? Why, the Cincinnati Bengals, of course! Not only that, but he's a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bearcats. He's thrown out first pitches, been kicked out of games for altercations, and more.
Why is he such a big fan of all sports teams from Cincinnati? Well, he lives there! Or at least he did. He and his wife permanently relocated to Hawaii in 2021. We're glad he lived there for a little bit, at least, because otherwise, we would have no idea.
Los Angeles Rams: Tish Cyrus
If you're like us, you might be scratching your head about that name, but imagine the first name “Miley,” instead. Yes, it's Miley's mother Tish, who loves her Los Angeles Rams! Between filing for divorce and dropping that divorce with Billy Ray Cyrus in favor of couples therapy – multiple times – she loves to cheer on this Los Angeles football team.
She moved from Tennessee to California in the aughts to let Miley film “Hannah Montana,” and then when the Rams moved to Los Angeles she decided eh, why not.
