The actress, who plays Wonder Woman, has swiftly become a superstar, but she is committed to proving that she is also a human being, just like the rest of us. Although many of us wish we could look as good as her without makeup, Gadot gave an inside look at her daily life and comfortable style with this Instagram post.
She posted this pic with the caption telling her followers about the unglamorous reality of motherhood. It’s hard to believe that the actress didn’t get any sleep with how fabulous she looks in this shot. Gadot has credited her smooth skin with her large consumption of water.
Chrissy Teigen
Famous for telling it like it is, and her down-to-earth personality, model, mother, and influencer Chrissy Teigen posted this clean-faced pic on Instagram.
They say motherhood changes you, but we’re glad it has not altered Teigen’s sassy personality; she does claim that it has changed her skin. She told Refinery29 that the change to her skin is “unexplainable” and that post-pregnancy, she finds it to be a lot more sensitive. Maybe we’ll get more insight into this issue from the other mothers on this list.
Heidi Klum
Supermodel Heidi Klum ditched the makeup in a new selfie she posted on her Instagram story. This was a big departure from the perfectly made-up woman we are used to seeing on "Project Runway" and "America’s Got Talent." After seeing this pic, we think Klum should do this more often because she looks spectacular, and her skin has an amazing glow.
Her beauty routine is simple and surprising. She washes her face with baby shampoo, reasoning that if it’s good enough for a baby, it should be good enough for her. According to Klum, the baby shampoo even manages to remove her TV makeup and fake eyelashes. She doesn’t use toners or anything else because she feels like they suck all the good stuff from her skin, and finishes things off with a Buttermilk Moisturizer from Mario Badescu.
Sarah Hyland
Some celebrities like to act as if they were just born into the world with perfectly clear and healthy skin and don’t even have to do anything to maintain it. Sarah Hyland is not one of those stars, and the "Modern Family" actress has always been open with her fans about the fact that it takes some commitment and hard work to get great skin.
She has not been shy about posting selfies of herself literally covered in sheet masks, including a firming forehead mask, gold under-eye patches, and frown line masks. She seems to favor beauty products by Peter Thomas Roth, and if we can get Hyland’s glowing skin, we are absolutely willing to give them a try.
Kourtney Kardashian
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian is the poster sister for clean living. She believes in eating healthy and only uses natural skincare products. Kourtney shared her belief on her Poosh blog that only chemical-free products should be used as part of a skincare routine.
She has stated that not only are products that do not contain harmful chemicals better for the environment, but they are actually also healthier for your skin. Her ideas may be lofty, but it will not be easy for us regular people to emulate her skincare regimen. The Free People lip balm she uses may only cost $8, but the hyaluronic serum she uses is $300 a pop. Turns out it isn’t cheap to look that good.
