Mittens. Bucky. Max. Some pet names have been used so much you can call them out at any dog park and have 20 canines rushing to your side. But Katy Perry was a little more original than that and named her cat Kitty Purry. Fabulous, isn’t it?
The cat first rose to fame after appearing in Perry’s music video to the song “I Kissed a Girl” and unfortunately passed away in spring 2020. Perry still has two toy poodles (Mighty and Nugget) she raises with her partner Orlando Bloom. So the dogs are living their best life, and we get to… write about it? How is this fair?
Barack Obama
Pets on this list live in luxurious mansions, huge homes, and even in palaces. But none of them has lived in the White House. Well, none but Bo.
Bo is a Portuguese Water Dog and he was gifted to the Obamas from Edward Kennedy. It didn't take long for him to become friends with the Obamas' other dog, Sunny, and turn into a White House staple.
Jennifer Lawrence
Another celebrity who takes her pooch wherever she goes is Jennifer Lawrence. The pooch in question is called Pippi and she is a sweet Jack Russell Terrier. Little Pippi has her own crowd of Twitter followers who keep up with her envy-inducing life.
The Jennifer/Pippi relationship goes both ways. This means that they've got each other's back. Pippi actually made headlines when Lawrence was filming "Red Sparrow" — while filming a heated scene, Pippi thought her human was actually in danger and rushed on to set to save her. Adorable!
Lucy Hale
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale lives like a Hollywood star. Which makes sense since she is a Hollywood star. But her dog living the life of a Hollywood star? Now that makes a little less sense.
Hale's doggo is a Maltipoo called Elvis and he has the Instagram following of a well-established influencer. Elvis and his mommy are always at each other's side and it's just as sweet as you'd think.
Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy has created himself a tough-guy image with his motorcycles and his stubble and his fabulous abs and- what were we talking about? Oh yeah, pets. Tough as he may seem, you just need to see him once around his dogs to see through him.
Hardy has a few dogs of his own, which get access to set whenever he's busy filming. Other than them, he also fosters other dogs before they find a more permanent home. Super swoon-worthy.
