Strange choice. This guy must have grown up in a quite a seedy neighborhood if this was the first thing that he saw. On looking at that though, it does seem like the obvious choice.
Sadly for him, the answer, in the end, was actually “A Group of Well Wishers”. Bet that might teach him to look at the glass half full then.
Just Can't Make This Up
It's kind of "hard to believe" that this contestant missed this phrase. It's pretty easy to spell out, to be honest. It looks as if most contestants simply don't read what's on the boards and just go with their first guess.
Well, this one somehow thought it was "it's make-believe." Interesting choice. We sure he really wanted to believe whatever he saw on that board would simply come true.
You're On The Wrong Platform
This little perplexing puzzle of a phrase seemed to throw another Wheel of Fortune victim for a loop. For $7, 300, this head-scratcher read the phrase "elevator train platform". Guess they conjured that "o" and "r" straight out of thin air.
Unfortunately, the phrase is "elevator train platform". Seems obvious but, you never know.
What's The Difference?
It's hard to pin-point what really went wrong here. This is not so much a result of classic Wheel of Fortune silliness, but more of a deprived childhood. Shouldn't everyone know about Merlin the Magician?
Unfortunately, the contestant thought that Marvin the Magician seemed like the correct answer. Even stranger, the next contestant answered the exact same thing. Sounds like Marvin cast a spell on them.
You Got The Wine?
This woman really needs to brush up on her music knowledge and start listening to some old classics. According to her, she thought that Cash's famous song was "I Have The Wine" and not "I Walk The Line".
Perhaps she was speaking her mind and really just visualized a tall glass of pinot in her mind to help her calm her nerves. That sure is one way to get through the game show!
